I am encouraged by the growth of our membership and happy to report that July ended with 385 PFOA member stores. We continue to grow our usage of the Cah/AAP program with our affiliates and have opportunities to add to the ABC membership use.

The Cardinal Retail Business Conference provided an opportunity to meet with members, network with various industry partners, learn more about Cardinal programs and allow us to make new contacts. Through Richard Macaluso’s efforts we were able to turn several Cardinal contacts into new PFOA members.

    On August 8, 2012, RxAlly announced that its member pharmacies will be exclusively invited to form the preferred network to Smart Insurance Company Holdings, Inc., a provider of innovative health care solutions to the senior market.

In October, RxAlly will help introduce SmartD Rx, Smart Insurance Company Holding's new Medicare Part D prescription drug plan, pending final approval from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The RxAlly member pharmacies who participate will serve as dedicated wellness partners, playing a key role in the delivery of quality health care to seniors and Medicare beneficiaries.
